Our History

Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, New Beginnings Fellowship Baptist Church was formed on

September 1, 1996. It began with a small group of people who had a big vision and the assurance

from the Lord "that He would build His church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it."

From that day fourth, New Beginnings Fellowship Baptist Church has continued to grow in number

and in the Spirit of the the Lord, TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

New Beginnings Fellowship has a five-fold purpose in which it seeks to follow: This five-fold

purpose is taken from the Great Commandment in Matthew 22:37-40 and the Great Commission

in Matthew 28: 19-20. The first purpose is to WORSHIP the Lord. Matthew 22: 37 says, "You shall Love

the lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." The second

purpose is MINISTRY..."You shall love your neighbor as yourself." The third purpose of New Beginnings

Fellowship Baptist Church is EVANGELISM. In Matthew: 28, the Great Commission states that we

are to go and make disciples of all nations. The fourth purpose is FELLOWSHIP..."baptizing them

in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." Finally, the fifth purpose of New Beginnings

Fellowship Baptist Church is DISCIPLESHIP "teaching them to observe all that I commanded you."

Therefore, the Motto of New Beginnings Fellowship Baptist Church is " A GREAT COMMITMENT TO THE

GREAT COMMANDMENT AND THE GREAT COMMISSION WILL GROW A GREAT CHRUCH."
